Room Service on Celebrity Cruises
Don't forget you have complimentary room service when on a Celebrity cruise. This service is offered until midnight, unless you are a traveling in a suite and then it's 24-hours a day. The beauty of cruising is having a delicious meal brought directly to your balcony cabin. It's my favorite way to dine. As of 2023, the fee for room service is $9.95 (although a continental breakfast is complimentary) unless you are in a The Retreat suite.
This service is for Celebrity Cruises breakfast, too! Just hang the room service tag outside on your door before 2 AM, and you'll find a cheerful knock on your door at the time you've specified the next morning. Your Celebrity Cruises stateroom attendant or butler will set up your breakfast items where ever you'd like. My favorite place is always on the veranda. Whether in Alaska or the Caribbean, it's always going to be a beautiful view for breakfast. You can also choose room service items from the menu on your television any time of day!
Do You Tip for Room Service Delivery on a Cruise?
When ordering room service on Celebrity Cruises, typically the room service attendant will deliver it to you. This can be for morning breakfast through a late night snack. I know it can be overlooked, but I typically tip the room service attendant when they deliver my order. However, if you are in a suite, your butler will deliver your room service. It's not necessary to tip your Butler each time they deliver a room service meal.

If you are staying in a suite (Sky Suite or above) you can typically ask your butler for anything you might desire. We had room service brought in for a sail-away party. Just let them know how many people you'll be having so they can plan ahead and have food prepared.
