Cafe al Bacio & Gelateria on Celebrity Cruises

Complimentary desserts are amazing at Cafe al Bacio all day long. It's basically an upscale coffee shop with decadent pastries and gelato. There is an up-charge for the coffees but even if you don't want a coffee, just stop by and ask for a chocolate, pastry or cookie. They'll be happy to give it to you. The best part is they are available all day long. It's not well known, but make sure to visit Café al Bacio first thing in the morning for delicious donuts. They are the perfect start to the day.
Don't miss the gelato! The flavors may change daily, but they always have an amazing assortment. On this picture day, we found Mango, Chocolate, Chocolate Hazelnut, Pistachio, Passion Fruit, Raspberry, Lemon, Hazelnut, Rum Raisin, Vanilla, Coffee, and Caramel by the scoop or in amazing fresh cookie gelato sandwiches.

Cafe al Bacio has only gotten better and bigger on the new Celebrity Apex and other Celebrity Edge class ships! The one difference is that you won't find gelato here anymore, which is a bit of a disappointment. However, gelato now has a new home, along with various ice cream flavors, at Scoops. Celebrity Apex features Scoops next to the entrance of the Oceanview Cafe. If you are looking for soft serve ice cream, you'll find this self-service at Mast Grill (along with bowls and cones.) Virtual Hint: Kid friendly and adult obsessive. The Gelateria charges per bowl, cone or sandwich and can easily add up on your room charges. Right next door is Café al Bacio where freshly made cookies and pastries are complimentary! Even if you don't indulge in the delicious specialty coffees. However, if you are in the Celebrity Cruises Captain's Club, you will automatically get a free scoop.
If you are not a coffee lover, they also have a fantastic selection of Tea Forte teas. Visit in the afternoon and sit down for a lovely afternoon tea.
