This is always the question! So, is it worth it to purchase a drink package on Celebrity Cruises and what's included? I will break it all down to help you decide. The first thing to look at is how much you drink. Are you the type of person who has one glass of wine at dinner? Or do you begin the day with a mimosa, then a piña colada by the pool, a cocktail before dinner, and wine with your meal?
As a guide, I typically recommend if you think you will drink 4 beverages or more a day (this includes bottled water, fresh squeezed orange juice, specialty coffee, cocktails, wines by the glass (bottles are not included), a dessert drink or more), purchasing a beverage package would probably be the best for you. For me, I love the convenience of having a beverage package. It's SO convenient not to sign a receipt each time you order a cocktail, or when purchasing a bottle of water before exiting the ship for an excursion. I also enjoy being able to stop by different bars and trying their specialties. Use your beverage package anywhere on the ship...from the dining rooms, to the lounges, poolside bars, Cafe al Bacio, even in the theater and casino.

Virtual Tip: If purchasing a drink package, it's per person, not per cabin. Additionally, when having a drink, you are only allowed one at a time. For example, you can't go up to a bar and ask for 3 bottles of water.
