On Celebrity Cruises, stay in a suite and you will have complimentary access to exclusive Michael's Club lounge or The Retreat Lounge depending on which ship you are on. This is a elegant and comfortable private lounge that features complimentary drinks. Order a drink mixed at the bar, sit down in an over-sized chair and order from your server, or some even offer a stocked refrigerator for you to stop in and grab one. They have exclusive food selections at various select times throughout the day.
The suite Michael's Club or The Retreat Lounge includes a knowledgeable and friendly concierge or host who can assist with making reservations, set up tours or anything else you may desire for a VIP experience. If you have access to The Retreat or Michael's Club, basically anything that you might stand in a line for at Guest Relations can be easily done by asking your Michael's Club concierge. The Celebrity Cruises ships are still in the midst of converting all Michael's Club to The Retreat Lounge.
Of course, do not hesitate to bring your kids. My boys enjoy the VIP treatment as much as anyone and they love having a special place to enjoy a soda.
Here's an example of how they can help! Want to sweeten your suite experience? Ask the concierge or Retreat Host to arrange Luggage Valet Service for you. This service may be complimentary if you are staying in a Royal Suite or above but it's only a nominal fee otherwise. As long as you are on participating airlines during designated times, you can sign up for Celebrity Cruises to check-in for you 24 hours prior, your butler will pick up your luggage from your suite and you won't handle it again until you arrive at your final destination. It's fantastic!

Michael's Club on Celebrity SolsticeOur Michael's Club Concierge on Celebrity Solstice during our June 21st 2019 sailing to Alaska from Seattle was Alexandra. She was terrific and extremely accommodating in answering our questions and making reservations. This is a terrific spot to meet after getting dressed and before heading to dinner as a family.

Michael's Club on Celebrity SummitI fell in love with Michael's Club on Celebrity Summit. They do a terrific job with intimate seating, expansive self-serve drink areas, fabulous bartenders, and keep a lookout for delicious treats they serve. Our concierge for this sailing, Cesar, was amazing (as they all are) and made our suite experience so sweet! This is an older photo as Celebrity Summit has been revolutionized as of Summer 2019.

The Retreat Lounge and The Retreat Deck on Celebrity Silhouette
Recently renovated, the Retreat experience on Celebrity Silhouette is top-notch. They have updated three spots for Retreat (suite) guests including Luminae, The Retreat Lounge, and The Retreat Deck. Our Retreat Concierge, Mike, was the one who knew how to get things done! He's incredible and along with the Retreat Bartender, Julia, we were well taken care of during our holiday cruise in December 2021.
One new perk that I loved is that they serve a lovely lunch at The Retreat Deck, plus there is a bar open throughout the day and evening to enjoy outdoor cocktails in this relaxing space. A word of warning, it does get a bit windy up there during certain times of the cruise (especially if cruising to the ABC islands) but it's still a great spot.

Unfortunately, there is not a designated pool area for suite guests on Celebrity Silhouette, but plenty of open space and views

Michael's Club on Celebrity Equinox
This has became one of our favorite go-to places before dinner or anytime of day when cruising in a suite. Our Michael's Club concierge during our Celebrity Equinox sailing in August 2017 was Jole. She always gave us the warmest welcome. Plus, she makes things happen! If you have any issues or questions during your cruise, she will graciously help you.
Our bartender/server in Michael's Club during our Celebrity Equinox sailing in August 2017 was Barbara. She was fabulous! She could make any kind of drink you were in the mood for. In the beginning, I ordered off of the menu but then I learned to ask Barbara. She would concoct the most delicious and beautiful cocktails. The entire family loved the familiarity of having a special place to relax and she would remember exactly what we all liked.

Michael's Club on Celebrity Reflection
Located near the specialty restaurants, Michael's Club on Celebrity Reflection is spacious with a beautiful, quiet ambiance. The centerpiece of the room is a gorgeous bar with terrific bartender who is available to whip up a delicious complimentary cocktail. I love that you can stop in and grab a drink (soda, water, juice, beer and more) anytime from one of the self-serve refrigerators.

Virtual Hint: Speaking of drinks, most cruise lines will allow you to bring a limited number of wines on board. When first arriving, ask your room steward to clear out the mini-fridge in your cabin so you have space for leftovers, bottled water, wine, etc.
