ICE! at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center
Located at 201 Waterfront St. National Harbor, MD 20745
Typically in season right before Thanksgiving through slightly after the New Year, ICE! is a winter wonderland extravaganza you won't want to miss. Located in the Gaylord National Resort, it's custom built each year with approximately two million pounds of carved, colored ice and kept at a chilly 9 degrees. It features amazing colorful and crystal clear holiday sculptured scenes, a tunnel and slick slides that are all amazingly created from ice. You'll stay extra warm in the parkas they provide, but don't forget to come prepared with your own gloves, hats, scarves and boots. After going through the exhibit, for a nominal fee they offer cups of hot chocolate to warm up. Don't forget to purchase your family "parka" picture as a souvenir of your trip.
