Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Baltimore, Maryland
Explore our detailed photo tour in 2016 and review of Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Baltimore, Maryland. Only minutes away from the Cruise Maryland terminal and a short ride from BWI airport, the Hotel Monaco at 2 North Charles Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201 is also conveniently located close to many popular attractions in the Inner Harbor, but yet still maintains its old world charm. A little history! The building was originally built in 1906 as the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Headquarters. It was then managed by Kimpton in 2009 as the Hotel Monaco. True to Kimpton's boutique philosophy, they have maintained the building beautifully.

We stayed in the Pullman Suite: Double Double with Bunk Beds (Room 1430). This suite is fantastic for families! It's very spacious and has a truly accommodating layout. The adult beds are on one side and the bunk beds are on the other.
Virtual Hint: A popular feature of the bunk bed room was the xbox that came in it. Just stop at the front desk and they have a numerous selection of games to choose from.
The bathroom is large and elegant.
With high ceilings and beautiful furnishings, the main sleeping area is spacious and has lots of amenities.
I am a huge fan of Kimpton's stocked mini-bar. They always have so many fun treats for kids of all ages. You'll even get a $10 credit to go wild in the mini-bar.

Don't want to have a formal breakfast? They have a great room service menu, too.
Activities at Baltimore's Kimpton Hotel Monaco
When you visit Hotel Monaco or any other Kimpton Hotel, don't miss the complimentary happy hour in the evenings. It's a great way to relax at the end of the day and even meet new friends.
They also have a phenomenal coffee display in the mornings. Complimentary, too!
Up for a quiet game of chess? I love this little nook in the lobby for a little friendly competition.
After all of that delicious food (you did check out the B&O Brasserie, right?) you may want to burn some calories. They have a fantastic place to work out. You'll also find clean towels, fresh fruit, and cold water to get your exercise going.
