Explorer's Restaurant at Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Hotel for Dining in Baltimore
Part of the Royal Sonesta, Harbor Court Hotel, Explorers is a great choice whether staying in the hotel or looking for a great place for a special treat. It's a wonderful as an intimate restaurant and fun lounge on the second floor of the hotel.
The food is delicious. Definitely try their signature items from the menu, as well something from the extensive wine and cocktails list. They also have a terrific kid's menu.
For lunch or dinner, I recommend the Honey Chicken Wings. These are truly fantastic and our only regret was not ordering more of them. For dinner, I ordered the special of the night. It was a Blackened Chilean Sea Bass over a Roasted Tomato Risotto. Once our waitress raved about it since she had tasted it before service began, I couldn't wait to try it. The crabcakes and hamburger (complete with cheddar, honeyed bacon and caramelized onions) were also a hit.
Breakfast at Explorers is also delicious. They have a lovely buffet with fresh cold and hot items. Or try one of their chef prepared breakfast items from the menu. Eggs Benedict is always my go-to and it was terrific.
