Exploring The Boca Raton in Boca Raton, FloridaWhen looking for a special occasion getaway to celebrate a milestone anniversary, The Boca Raton popped to the top of my list. We had visited here before with the kids and knew it was a fantastic family vacation, but how would it be for adults only? I don't want to give it away too soon...but it was amazing! Whether your interests are waterslides or champagne, you will love it here. Keep reading below to find out how they made it so special. When you first arrive to the resort, you will have to first check in to a guard gate, as they only allow access to The Boca Raton for hotel guests, club members, and registered visitors. We stayed in the Yacht Club, one of the 5 smaller, unique properties within the entire resort. Each property within The Boca Raton has its own exclusive look and feel. The minute we stepped in The Yacht Club, we knew it was the one for us. It is the epitome of luxury. With an age limit of 16 and up, the Yacht Club at The Boca Raton is definitely a high-style playground for adults. The Yacht ClubWe stayed in room 816, a lovely Oceanview Junior Suite with Balcony, at The Yacht Club. This 600 square foot room is a perfect size for a couple's getaway. Or we could have easily had one of our young adult sons also very comfortable on the sofa bed. The Boca Raton PropertyThis property has recently gone through an extensive renovation and they've done a fabulous job. Harborside Pool ClubHead to The Boca Raton Harborside Pool Club for an amazing water-playground with a relaxing lazy river, zero entry pools, loungers in the shade, and TWO waterslides - one is a tube style and the other open. They also offer adult and family cabanas to upscale your pool-day...think butler service, a cool fan, stocked mini-bar, loungers and more! Or if you prefer no kids, and cocktails and lunch by a quiet pool, head over to The Boca Raton adult only pool option just a few feet away. Vilebrequin Cabana Club at The Boca Raton Beach ClubLocated at the Beach Club, reserve a cabana at the Vilebrequin Cabana Club early for a prime pool and beach location. We splurge on a cabana every time we visit The Boca Raton. You can easily take a water taxi that leaves from outside of the Yacht Club and drops you directly at the Beach Club, across Lake Boca. The cabanas have a large television, lots of seating inside and out, plenty of storage, a stocked refrigerator, a shower and a separate water closet, and padded lounge chairs outside of the cabana. You'll have wonderful service for drinks and a refreshing lunch or snacks anytime you'd like. Exclusive Flybridge DiningWith only seating for 35, the Flybridge can be booked for this incredible 8-course dining experience if you are staying in the Yacht Club. Do keep in mind that this is a very long dinner with small plates for each course. They are all beautifully prepared and the service rivals any Michelin starred restaurant. In the mornings, Flybridge at The Boca Raton Yacht Club is also set-up for a lovely breakfast with both unique and traditional breakfast items. The Boca Raton Yacht Club exclusively offers it's guests a continental style breakfast, although you can also choose from hot items for a small surcharge. The Boca Raton Resort DiningThe Japanese Bocce Club is a cool Asian-inspired restaurant that has a fun vibe and delicious food. Principessa is an authentic Italian ristaurante. This was one of my favorite decorated dining rooms in the hotel and the experience was just as wonderful. The Flamingo Grill reminds me of a bygone era that's returned to The Boca Raton with bespoke traditional steakhouse menu items. We headed to Palm Court every night for before dinner drinks. Their cocktail selection is not to be beat and they have some of the best bar food I've experienced. Special OccasionsWhat's my final impression? If you are celebrating an occasion and looking for a relaxing, luxurious getaway, then look no further than the Yacht Club at The Boca Raton. If you are looking to indulge yourself and your family (which I love to do!) than any of the properties at The Boca Raton will provide an absolutely wonderful holiday.
