When looking for convenience to Washington, D.C. along with a luxury stay and a variety of activities for your family, you can't get better than Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center. I am SOLD! Exceptional dining, gorgeous suites with plenty of space for a family, and hands down the location you've been looking for. We first discovered this hotel because of its accessibility to the busy Washington, D.C. airports. When our son was looking for flights returning home from his visit to Seattle, our local airport didn't have any available. But we found great flights to an airport a couple hours away and from there, it turned into a weekend getaway. The Tysons Corner area of Northern Virginia is perfect since it's close to both Reagan National Airport and Dulles International Airport. Plus, parking at Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center is complimentary and you can come and go from a secure parking garage at your leisure. But...it gets better! This gorgeous hotel is within walking distance to the Washington DC Metro Silver line. Hop on for a reasonable price and it can quickly take you into bustling Washington, D.C. to explore the nation's capital, visit museums, monuments, and more. It's also connected to one of the best shopping malls in the area. You could literally spend days shopping in Tysons Corner Center. Between the anchor stores of Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Lord & Taylor, and Nordstrom, along with over 300 specialty stores, a huge selection of restaurants, and even an AMC 16-cinema movie theater, you'll never be at a loss for something to do. Once you step in the stunning Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center, you'll find even more to enjoy. The hotel offers amenities that rival any resort. It features 300 guestrooms, including 18 fabulous suites. There is a modern fitness center open 24-hours a day, an on-site restaurant with room service, laundry availability, meeting facilities, business services, concierge and a refreshing indoor heated pool. You can even order a massage right in your room. Want to bring your pooch? Ask about their pet-friendly accommodations! You'll want to tell your friends and family about it with the complimentary WiFi found throughout the hotel. My favorite place to sleepOver 720-square feet of over-the-top beautiful living space, the Regency Suite King is the perfect suite for either a romantic getaway or family vacation. I adore bright, airy rooms and this suite is truly all that. With floor to ceiling windows and amazing corner views, you'll never want to leave! If you are bringing the family, reserve additional sleeping room with an adjoining room for the kids. It's right next door to the Regency Suite and connects through a private alcove. Think two bathrooms, showers, and even more closet space. This 2 Queen Bed room is terrific. With approximately 374 square feet, you'll also enjoy lots of amenities. See them all. My Favorite Place to EatI'm seriously ready to dine here anytime! Barrel & Bushel has fantastic hours ideal for a busy guest's schedule or just to stop in for a fun atmosphere while shopping or visiting the area. This is something that is important to me especially when traveling with the family. We always get hungry at different times or might need to grab a bite at off-hours. It worked really well when arriving back at the hotel around midnight after picking up our son at the airport. They offer a great assortment of bar food and light fare late at night. The current menu hours are listed as: Breakfast: Mon-Fri: 6:30am-11:00am and Sat-Sun: 7:00am-11:00am Brunch: Sat-Sun: 11:00am-3:00pm Lunch: Mon-Fri:11:00am-3:00pm Dinner: Sun-Thurs: 3:00pm-10:00pm and Fri-Sat: 3:00pm-11:00pm Late Night Menu: Sun-Thurs: 10:00pm-12:00 am and Fri-Sat: 11:00pm-1:00am Happy Hour: Daily from 2:00pm-7:00pm Executive Chef Dan Dienemann performs magic in the kitchen! The specialties at Barrel & Bushel focus on using the freshest of ingredients found on local farms in the region. Allow time to read through everything on the menu. It all sounds enticing and is SO hard to choose. If you are still not sure, ask your server. They are knowledgeable about everything coming out of the kitchen, right down to the house made dipping sauces. For dinner, I loved the selections of shared plates and we couldn't resist trying a few. They even offer an enormous variety on the kid's menu for their youngest diners. And come thirsty. With over 30 seasonal craft beers, 65 specialty bourbons, and a fabulous cocktail menu, you'll definitely want to try one (or two!) of these unique drinks. They rotate their beers and bourbons regularly to feature local breweries and distilleries in the region. Cocktails and Dinner Breakfast Start off your morning with a breakfast buffet featuring a variety of cereals, pastries, fresh fruits, and juices. You can turn your buffet "hot" and add-on eggs any style, your choice of meat, potatoes, and toast. I love that every dish comes with delicious condiments for dipping and I try them ALL. Or order from their amazing menu to really wake up your taste buds. The Sweets Fudge anyone? I quickly and happily learned their specialty dessert is homemade fudge. Chocolate almond nut, salted caramel peanut butter, cookies & cream, or another selection of the day. Yes, please! The inside turns outside when it's nice weather. What a great feature! Enjoy the plaza just steps away where the kids can play on a gigantic playground while you relax in the indoor or outdoor bar, or at a comfortable table. We often enjoy staying over for a quick getaway to explore a new destination. The Northern Virginia area has so many places to discover, including numerous wineries, museums, colleges, and more. Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center is definitely my new favorite home away from home the next time we visit. Disclaimer: I was graciously hosted by Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center for all accommodations during our stay as well as our full breakfast. As always, all opinions are completely my own based on our experiences. Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner For Great Food, Suites, And Family Travel
