What staff is on board my Celebrity Cruise?

2024 Update! As cruising has become more popular than ever before, I wanted to update and include the wonderful Celebrity Cruises staff we've encountered recently. As we've taken a momentary pause in cruising, I can't stop thinking about my favorite staff and crew we've met over the years on Celebrity Cruises. We have cruised on other cruise lines, although our first cruise with Celebrity Cruises in December 2012 on Celebrity Reflection, has kept us faithful. My boys were 13 and 11 at the time. Since then, we've taken five more Celebrity Cruises vacations as a family. Because of the pandemic, we've sadly had to postpone our most recent cruise but we are excitedly booked for August 2021 to the Caribbean on Celebrity Equinox.

Each of our cruises were made extra special by the attention and service we received from the Celebrity Cruises crew and staff. I want to recognize as many names as I can remember. PLUS, for the very first time, I'm showing off some of our personal family photos with memorable staff and crew onboard Celebrity Cruises. In response to the dramatic and sudden halt of cruising, the Celebrity Cruises staff and crew deserve much recognition. Whether we were in a standard stateroom or a premium suite, they always made us feel like a "Celebrity". A HUGE thanks from me, my family, and My Virtual Vacations, for taking time away from your own family to make our cruise memories and vacation dreams come true. ​

Celebrity Beyond, ABC Islands, August 10 - 18, 2024 

Here are a few of our favorite staff onboard Celebrity Beyond now. Their contracts do change often, as do their roles, but if you are lucky enough to have any of them, you are in for a treat. If you are onboard and see any of them, please tell them I said HELLO! 

• Celebrity Beyond's Captain Kate McCue is fantastic! She's everywhere and always approachable. 
• Wesley, Sommelier Le Voyage (and Raw on 5) - Made excellent recommendations for wines and cocktails. He really knows his wines! 
• Adrian, Sommelier Eden - Very personable and speedy, made very good recommendations for everyone. We recognized him from a past Celebrity Cruise on Celebrity Reflection. He's still amazing!
• Jess, Server at Eden Restaurant - He was terrific! Easily remembered all of our names,and likes and dislikes. This only added to the fabulous Eden dining experience.
• Gorica (Maitre D) - Eden & OV (saw her at both) She is so very welcoming at Eden and so poised and had such a beautiful way of introducing this new experience for us (we loved it so much we dined at Eden twice!)
• Aaron, Server at Luminae - We had him for breakfast every morning and he always remembered what we enjoyed.
• Godfrey, our Butler in RS 12127 and Iconic Suite 12101 - I can't say enough good things about him! Godfrey was so very helpful, attentive, gracious and is a star among butlers. He helped us get everything done. Having the WhatsApp texting is a gamechanger too - great job! 
• Darwin, Butler on Deck 10 - We met him often and he was always so helpful. 
• Amazing Stateroom Attendants: Asta, Frank, and Tony
• Rolando and Danny, Retreat Hosts - They were our "go to" and were always so patient, friendly and helpful.  
• Kostiantyn and Darko - They are perfect mixologists at the World Class Bar and we also had them both for the Mixology 101 class. They really know their drinks! Visit the bar and take the class, it's a lot of fun!

As all cruise enthusiasts are, I'm devastated to have cruising come to a sudden stop and having to re-plan and postpone my dream vacation that I've been so anxiously anticipating. Yes, cruising will have it's share of changes in the future. But I am confident that Celebrity Cruises and the staff and crew will make sure guests still enjoy lasting wonderful memories of their family vacations. I hope to be back onboard soon and see some of these smiling, familiar faces again!
