New Dining on Celebrity Reflection

We've just returned from an amazing 7-night Western Caribbean cruise onboard Celebrity Reflection. This was our second time on this ship and we loved seeing and experiencing all of the new changes in dining. We were truly impressed with Luminae, an elegant Suite Guest dining room where the presentation and quality rivals the finest restaurants on land. Sushi on Five is a deliciously unique Asian inspired specialty restaurant currently only on Celebrity Reflection. The Porch is redefined with a fresh seafood theme and it's perfect for a day at sea. There were even small changes in Opus, the stunning main dining room.

LUMINAE: Designated specifically for suite guests, Luminae is beautifully intimate and each plate they serve is a true masterpiece.  Luxury dining without being stuffy, Luminae will not disappoint.

SUSHI ON FIVE: Replacing Bistro on Five on Celebrity Reflection, this flagship a la carte Asian inspired specialty restaurant is amazing and will definitely be a hit when rolled out fleet wide. With a variety of noodle bowls, fresh made to order sushi selections, unique desserts and more, it's delicious!

THE PORCH: Since our last visit to The Porch, it has now transformed to a phenomenal fresh seafood specialty restaurant. With an ocean view from the top of the ship, the menu has something for everyone. Don't miss the chilled seafood tower pictured below. 

If you still love traditional dining (I'm actually a big fan) the Opus Main Dining Room is just as beautiful as ever. I personally think this is a gorgeous dining room and they are even doing a few new things here. I was first extremely disappointed when I found out they eliminated the parade of waiters. However, they replaced it with a parade of the chefs. Even better! I love this idea and clapped enthusiastically when the head chef and all of the galley staff passed by. They work tirelessly to prepare thousands of meals in a short amount of time and definitely deserve a parade. 

Also, by not having the waiters parading around with the traditional Baked Alaska, it maintains its coldness and crispy meringue freshness when served. It's an option on the menu and was absolutely delicious. 

It really was an experience to be able to try all of these new dining spots and changes. It's apparent throughout that the staff takes great pride to keep the dining on Celebrity Reflection top of the line. We can't wait to see what new things are in store the next time we cruise on Celebrity Reflection again!
