 Discover Bonjour French Bakery in Baltimore, MarylandIn the Mt. Washington area of Baltimore, Maryland, there is a small French bakery that you may just miss if you drive by too fast. Located on Falls Road in a quaint purple house is the most delicious French bakery and cafe. This hidden gem, Bonjour French Bakery/Cafe, has a wonderful selection of savory and sweet treats that will amaze all of your senses. They always say the best travel tips are from the locals, so I'm passing this special one on to you.  At Bonjour French Bakery/Cafe, you'll find ample seating inside and on the porch outside. It's perfect to sit and enjoy a delicious bite in a charming atmosphere any time of year. They also cater local parties and events at the venue of your choice. However for our most recent visit, we were hosting a Sunday brunch and carried out more than a few specialties.  On the savory side, the buttery ham and cheese filled croissants melt in your mouth. Virtual Hint: If you are enjoying a croissant in the cafe, they will warm one up for you. But if you get one to-go, it toasts up perfectly in an oven or microwave in your hotel room or kitchen.  If you are a fan of chocolate (like my family) then you will love the decadent chocolate mousse cake. Not only is it gorgeous but the smooth chocolate flavor is incredible.  Of course, individual serving-sized selections are always my favorite - that way I can sample a few! The fruit flavored mousse, strawberry shortcake, and chocolate mousse with liquor, dark cherries, and a hazelnut crust, are always crowd pleasers. If you are in Baltimore, Maryland and looking for a delicious treat for breakfast, tea time, or really anytime, then definitely plan a visit to Bonjour French Bakery/Cafe.
