Celebrity Cruises Royal SuiteEveryday life is hectic, right? So when we get the chance to get away, we like to truly kick back and relax. Our current cruise line of choice is Celebrity Cruises. The ship sizes are perfect. The kids can engage in numerous activities, plus we love the vast culinary selections and beautifully decorated ships and staterooms. When it comes to where to stay, we choose to cruise less frequently in order to enjoy the extra touches and amenities that suites offer. And they are exceptional! See here for the details of the rollout on May 23, 2024 of the NEW perks when staying in a Royal Suite or above on Celebrity Cruises. For our upcoming cruise, we planned ahead and booked it while onboard our previous one. By doing this, we paid a reduced deposit plus received a substantial onboard credit and extra perks. Deals are available for all stateroom selections, but when we compared the size and cost of two staterooms for our family, it was not much of an increase to upgrade to the suite life and we excitedly snagged a spacious Royal Suite. Have you stayed in a Royal Suite on Celebrity Cruises? I'd love to hear your favorite suite life experience! Take a minute to add it to the cruise cabin tracking list so future cruisers can see your review. What do you get when cruising in a Royal Suite? Here is a list of the amenities offered to Royal Suite guests from Celebrity Cruises website:
So what does this mean? It means you are in for one of the most all-inclusive cruising experiences at sea! But still, there are a few things not mentioned above that are extraordinary in creating your perfect upscale family vacation. Wait until you hear... It's true, the Royal Suites on Solstice class ships have two bathrooms! The second is a powder room and doesn't include a shower or tub, but it's spacious enough for extra storage and more privacy. Showering and bathing (in a HUGE jetted tub!) is just right around the corner connected to the master bedroom. You should never get dehydrated. Not only do you have unlimited access to Michael's Club for beverages along with a Premium Beverage Package, but you also have a small refrigerator in your suite. This is stocked before you come on board and restocked daily by your butler. If you get thirsty at night, you won't even have to leave the stateroom. Anytime of day, easily grab a cold can of soda or beer to take out on your veranda. Celebrity Cruises features Coke brand products and they offer an amazing selection. The special treatment will begin weeks before you even step foot on the ship. Curious how your favorite beverage selections magically appear in your refrigerator before you step foot in your stateroom? It will start with an email similar to this: A few weeks prior to sailing, your personal Shoreside Concierge will reach out to you. This is your chance to ask questions, make specialty dining reservations, request favorite beverages for your refrigerator, specify pillow preferences, ask for extra towels, or discuss onboard special occasions, just to name a few. Additionally, you'll also discuss your stateroom bar setup. It comes with two bottles of liquor but they will happily swap out wine or other choices. We are not huge liquor drinkers so I was thrilled to find we could have a bottle of Kahlua and a bottle of red wine. This is in addition to the bottle of complimentary bubbly, too. I love the Shoreside Concierge service. Who doesn't love talking about the excitement and expectations for your upcoming cruise vacation? It makes the luxury cruise experience start even sooner. If you need to reach them directly, the Shoreside Concierge phone number is (877) 738-7328. What does your butler actually do? The description states they will provide "assistance with unpacking." However, I haven't found many guests who ask the butler to unpack their clothes. Keep in mind, you still have to be present during this service. I personally like figuring out the storage and clothing placement that is most convenient for my family, but I am intrigued to one day see how a professional would organize. If you want something, don't hesitate to ask. Your butler is there to assist with making things happen (click here for 21 examples of my favorites!) seamlessly without you having to think about them. A few fun suggestions:
Head out to your veranda in a Royal Suite and you'll find your own private hot tub haven. You read it correctly! Think cold nights in Alaska sitting in your hot tub watching the glaciers float by. Or escape crowded pool decks and retreat to a secluded spot with an elegant lunch served by your butler. This IS the suite life. Currently, Celebrity Cruises is testing an expedited luggage delivery service on the Celebrity Equinox for Royal Suite guests. Drop your luggage off in a designated spot and by the time you are checked-in and arrive in your suite, your luggage will be waiting for you. If this is successful, they will hopefully roll this out fleet wide. They are also starting to include Luggage Valet service for Royal Suites, which is a fantastic perk! This is only the beginning of the luxury experience. We recently cruised in a Royal Suite on Celebrity Equinox. Click to see pictures inside and reviews of this suite. You'll also discover some of our favorite crew on board and see the latest amenities. Keep in mind: These are the perks available at the time this article was written. Celebrity Cruises may change or discontinue any perks at any time. Always check with your Michael's Club Concierge, Butler, or On Shore Concierge to see what is available at the time of your sailing.

Thank you for this thorough article. It seems that sadly, celebrity have scaled back quite a few amenities. I will be sailing in a week in a royal suite. I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone in the concierge, and they have charged me for my upcoming specialty dining reservations. Not sure it is worth it to book this room category anymore, but looking forward to the trip nonetheless.
