One of our favorite destinations in South Florida is Boca Raton. Besides visiting my family (which is always a selling point!) these are the reasons why Boca Raton should be a stop on your next family vacation to Florida:

• You can't beat the surrounding water views with either the Atlantic Ocean or Intracoastal access. Many of the best resorts and hotels are located in these prime locations so you'll always have amazing views of the water. Ask for a room with a sunset view! 
• The dining. Many notable restaurants are always on the top lists. The availability year-round of the freshest seafood caught daily and the delicious local fruits and vegetables are what sets Boca Raton apart for dining.
• Location, location, location! When I say Boca Raton, I'm also thinking of all the outlying areas you can get to. Within close proximity, visit Delray Beach for the vibrant shops and restaurants on Atlantic Avenue or wake up early to enjoy the sunrise or fishing from the Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier.  Fort Lauderdale is less than an hour away south or head north to exclusive Palm Beach. 

There are truly so many beautiful resorts and hotels to choose from in Boca Raton. Whether you are visiting for a night, a few days, or more, explore my recommended hotels in this area. Because they are located in a convenient location for travel, they are also perfect for a short stay before or after a cruise. If you are looking for a bit of nightlife, you won't have to go far to visit bustling bars and restaurants. Or by day, lay on the beach at your resort or visit one of the many beautiful public beaches where they have ample parking, facilities, and even gorgeous reefs for snorkeling and swimming. With so much to offer in a beautiful, serene atmosphere, you'll definitely want to come back to Boca Raton again and again!
